Cleaning my face at night has become one of my favorite part of the day. Don’t get me wrong, applying my makeup feels so good and is a creative moment for me but there is something about taking the day off my face after a long day that feels very relaxing.
I like to make sure that there is no makeup or impurities left on the skin once I’m done with skincare and showering so I usually do it in several steps.
One of the product that have been essential lately has been the new l’Oréal Pure Clay Detox & Brighten Cleanser. I have the mask version of this and absolutely love it so when I found this at my local drugstore I picked it up immediately, especially when I saw the price tag of 5,85€ for 150 ml.
This formula is quite interesting, it comes out as a gel but once mixed with water turned into a mousse consistency and changes color from a dark grey to a lighter grey. It feels super refreshing on the skin and not drying at all.
It is said to
- “Remove everyday impurities without drying the skin,
- Immediately purify of dirt, oil and pollution
- Leave the skin clean, clear with a healthy look
- Make the skin looks revitalized with a fresh glow”
I do agree that my skin feels cleaner and clearer after using it and it does make the skin look healthier, probably because it took out the dirt and impurity off the skin.
It’s easy to take off, you don’t need to rub for a hundred years for everything to come off which I really appreciate. It’s said to use it as a cleanser but I like to leave it on for a couple minutes before hopping in the shower for maximum effect – and a daily little pampering session.
Overall I really enjoy using this product and would recommend it. I think, though it’s not miraculous, it does the job and leaves the skin feeling clean and clearer. Plus, I really like the fact that it contains the 3 pure clays as I like my skincare to be more on the natural side.
Have you tried their new gel cleansers and new masks?
