I’m sure I am not the only one who once she finds products she loves and trusts is guilty of sticking to a routine.
But because of that, I often forget about products I used to be obsessed with. Which is good as it’s means that when I dig into my collection and find trusted good ol’ products, I go into a session of “oooooh” ” ahhhh” and “ommmg I love this!” and I get quite excited.
Lately I’ve had quite a bit of re-found love for some products and thought I’d share them with you.
First is the Bourjois 1,2,3 Perfect CC Cream. I went to the gym at lunch-time one Thursday and as I didn’t have class in the morning and I don’t like working out with makeup on, I decided to slap something on after, before going to school. I don’t like wasting my expensive foundations for only an afternoon of wear, so I decided to go for this one. And boy I had forgotten how amazing it was. My face was literally the color of a tomato and after applying it to one side of my face it looked so different. The color correction is so good and definitely covered my pizza-base face color whilst looking super natural. It helped to make me look more awake as well and brought back some moisture. I love to use it when I mostly need color correction and not too too much coverage as it’s more of a light-medium coverage.
The Maybelline 24h Color tattoo eyeshadows have been talked about so much a few years ago and now that I’ve started using them again I don’t understand how I forgot about them. I love the consistency, it stays on for a long time and the colors are beautiful.
I bought the Kiko Long lasting 8-hour no transfer eyeshadow pencils not long ago (see review here) but for some reason, probably because they are in a jar on my counter, I forgot about them. But they are so good at making my eyes look more awake, create different eye-look with the smudge end that I tend to use them quite a lot, especially before the gym as I only wear a bit of mascara and wearing a little bit of eyeliner helps to make my eyes look bigger, and therefore me less tired.
I had stopped using the Dior Lip Scrub for the pure reason that I was using it so much I was afraid to run out of it quickly and it’s quite expensive. But with the cold weather making my lips more chapped than ever, I had to start using this again. Dear heavens I love it, I love the smell, how it helps to exfoliate my lips but also moisturize them and is a beautiful shade of pink.
