The Cold Weather Skincare – Origins Ginzing Energy-boosting gel moisturizer

Ever since I was a teenager, I’ve been obsessed with moisturizing my face and body. Even though I have oily skin, my skin feels extremely tight and itchy if I don’t moisturize it straight after washing it.

I started by using the Nivea moisturizer as a teenager, then Garnier, before moving on to the l’Oréal Hydra Genius Aloe vera moisturizer earlier this year. But with the change in season, I wanted something that would moisturize my skin as well as bring some more radiance to my skin.

I came across the Origins Ginzing Energy-boosting gel moisturizer whilst shopping and after a bit more research decided to go for it as it was aimed at oilier skin types (there is another version – not a gel one – aimed at drier skins).

It contains energizing products such as panel ginseng and coffee bean to boost radiance and instantly hydrate the skin.

This product is great to combat dryness and dullness as well as uneven texture. The texture is super light and a little goes a long way.

The smell is absolutely amazing, it’s a blend of 100% natural essential oils of lemon, grapefruit and spearmint and makes every application – especially in the morning – so enjoyable.

I’ve been using this product for over two weeks morning and night and I’ve been able to tell a different. My skin looks brighter, more even and looks less tired. I haven’t had any bad reactions and my skin feels tight and hydrated but never heavy with product.

Overall I’m really enjoying this product, the smell mixed with the results and lightness of the texture makes every application a pleasure and I’m even more looking forward to do my skincare routine.
