I have recently got a bit more time to be more active in the blogging world. I have been able (except during my surprise weekend away sorry) to post twice a week recently and to work on my content a bit more. I have realized lately that I love to blog about anything I feel passionate about and won’t stick to just the “beauty†side of things. I would love to be able to blog more about makeup and skincare, but I think that would require a bigger budget from me and I unfortunately cannot do that right now. But that’s okay, because my interests go wider than just beauty and other amazing bloggers have amazing beauty content. I have fallen back in love with Bloglovin’ lately and it has enabled me to read way more posts and to love and comment so easily. Reading about other people’s passions makes me feel so inspired and I love reading about different topics whether it’s beauty of lifestyle-related. I have started my blog because I love to share and to talk about my passions and I thought today I would share some amazing bloggers I have found along the way. These are in no way listed neither in preference order whatsoever nor by their following, but rather in a random way, because why not.
- Barely There Beauty
Jennifer’s blog is full of beauty product’s review, travel posts, personal life posts and advises. Her photography is so on point, the skills are truly there! Annnd, her eyes are so beautiful you’ll probably feel stuck in them. Be warned.
Emily writes mostly about beauty and is responsible for causing me to grow my wishlist. Her photos are just perfect, I wish I’d do layouts as amazing as hers. Oh well. I love that she talks about affordable and more price-y products, plus, you get close-ups and swatches which I really like as it gives a real overall view on the quality and the color as it sometimes differs from the one in the pan(and the color payoff).
Her posts are mostly beauty-related and talk about everything a beauty addict needs to know, whether it’s a review of a hyped product, to makeup she loves, her routines you’ll find something interesting for sure!
- Like Neon Love
Monica’s blog is a mix of beauty content and life updates which basically sums up my love for beauty and my nosiness. She throws in a bit of fashion and lifestyle in there and bam it’s perfect. I love her photos and how thought out they are (you’ll have understood that photography in a vlog kind of sucks me in).
- Jasmine Talks Beauty
(add solemn music). It’s funny because everytime I clic on a post immediately, it’s usually one from Jasmine. I freaking adore this blog, the photos are incredible, I love her writing style and the ergonomy of her posts. She talks mostly about beauty but also throws in some lifestyle as well. Basically her blog is goals and you can tell she has learned along the way. And as most of you, seeing blogs like hers makes me want to put even more work in mine. Inspiration is key.
- From Roses
Rebecca’s blog is a mix of lifestyle and beauty. I love how diverse her content is, you can learn about everything and yourself as well. She is very inspirational and I love the quality of the visual and the titles of her posts (weird right? but it does feel good to read titles that change from the usual ones, I’m not that good at that myself tbh). And again, the photos are up there.
Lauren blogs about everything from beauty, lifestyle, to travel, recycling and some “vlog style†content as well. Again, I love how diverse her blog is, I myself don’t want to categorize my blog but rather, as I feel like Lauren does, prefer to write about anything and everything. Plus, I love her writing style is the bomb.
- The Pearly Life
Pearl is a Nigerian beauty and blogs about everything beauty, travel and lifestyle. She does favorites, Q&As, reviews, tours in photos of the places she visits, guide to the perfect nude lipstick… just to name a few. She is so nice and I love her blogging style, it feels very informative, very thorough and honest. I just really enjoy reading her blogposts.
Katie’s blog is mostly beauty related but with some life-related posts as well which I love as she used to (she just graduated! Congrats Katie!) go to University at the same time as doing her blog so I related with her. She does some reviewing, what she loves, current makeup she wears, both about affordable and high end products. Again, should I mention I love her photography? No, surely by now you understand how much I love a good photo//layout.
Again, Jodie is mostly a beauty blogger but with some tips and tricks, applied to a certain situation (wedding for example) beauty tips and some lifestyle as well. Though her blog focuses on beauty, it’s not repetitive if you see what I mean, she really talks about everything from her staples, to beauty wishlists, current favorites, useful tools, etc I love that it’s both varied and informative, and beautiful to see.
- The MakeupDirectory
Sally is a beauty blogger who posts about what she loves, gives some advises, reviews but also throws in some lifestyle posts in there. She also gives some love to both side of the price spectrum which is always great .
What I really love about these blogs is first of all the passion and love that is truly given to the blog and the products. You can tell that the blogger is passionate about what she talks about and really takes care of her content. Each author has her own writing style, her own aesthetic and writes quality content. Blogs are one’s corner of the internet and a way for its owner to be themselves and these blogs really inspire me to create beautiful content and give me a few minutes of happiness while reading them.
Do you have any blogs to recommend? I’m always on the hunt for new bloggers. Whose blog do you love?
Hope you enjoyed!
